It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 17th Annual Conference of the Indian Association for the Study of Liver in Delhi on 27 - 29 March, 2009. For the first time, this annual meeting will have an International course in advances in liver transplantation. An international faculty from the United States, Europe, and Asia will discuss various aspects and new developments in liver transplantation. The conference will be held at Hotel Intercontinental “The Grand” (now known as The Lalit) New Delhi which stands tall right in the heart of city’s premier business and commercial district – Connaught Place. Next to lively shopping centers, office complexes and colourful streets. The hotel is 24 kms from the international airport and just minutes from government offices, cultural centres and international trade fair grounds. It is also within close proximity to historical landmarks like India Gate, Jama Masjid and Red Fort. The hotel is walking distance from Connaught Place. The weather in Delhi at the time of the conference should be quite pleasant. The association and the local organizing team are trying to put up a stimulating academic program for the conference.
